Create/Edit Templates
- Templates can be created for deposits that often use the same account numbers and class codes.
- To create or edit a template click Create/Edit Template.
- To create a new template, click the New Template button.
- Then enter the fund accounts and class codes; a template is limited to ten lines. Click Enter.
- If there are any invalid entries, a message will be displayed.
- If the data is valid, the new template will be created and given a name.
- Templates will be named automatically with the department code of the person entering the template plus a number.
- There is a limit of 10 templates per department.
- It is possible for a user to use any template within their department.
- Although a user can only create and view templates within their own department, any fund accounts can be used.
- So if deposits are made for another department, a template can be created and used that includes the other department's fund account numbers.
- To view or edit a template, click the down arrow under Display/Edit template, then select a template from the list.
- Make any necessary changes and click Enter.
- If there are any invalid entries, a message will be displayed.
- If the data is valid, the changes will be saved.
